How is democractic government known as responsive government ? Explain with examples.

In a democracy, people elect the leaders of their choice according to their demands and wish.The elected representatives then respond to the demands and difficulties faced by people. Therefore we called   it as a  responsive government. In case any democratic government were not responsive, it would be overthrown by the people.
