What is Param Vir Chakra award ?
The Param Vir Chakra (PVC) is India's highest military decoration awarded for the highest degree of valor or self-sacrifice in the presence of the enemy. The majority of the award recipients, fourteen out of twenty one, were awarded posthumously(after death).
