Find the ratio of the pressure exerted by a block of 200 N when placed on a table top along its two different sides with dimensions 20cm x 15cm and 30cm x 15cm
step 1:- Pressure1 = Thrust/Area 
Take the thrust 200 N as given in the question.
Area=20 cm x 15 cm =3000 cm2
substitute it for pressure 1

step 2:- Pressure2 = Thrust/Area 
Take the thrust 200 N as given in the question.
Area =30 cm x 15 cm =4500 cm2
substitute it for pressure 2

step 3:-find the ratios pressure 1/pressure 2
