what is called mass, matter and moleclues ? with examples

Mass

Mass is how heavy something is without gravity.
This means the mass of an object is the same on
earth and in space (or other planets).

Matter

Anything which occupies space and have mass is called matter. They are Solid, Liquid and Gas. And also Plasma and Bose - Einstein Condensate.

Molecules

Molecules form when two or more atoms form chemical bonds with each other. It doesn't matter if the atoms are the same or are different from each other.

Here are examples of common molecules:

  •     H2O (Water)
  •     N2 (Nitrogen)
  •     O3 (Ozone)
  •     CaO (Calcium oxide)
  •     C6H12O6 (Glucose, a type of sugar)
