HOW WOULD INCOME AND EMPLOYMENT INCREASE IF FARMERS ARE PROVIDED WITH LOAN,IRRIGATION AND TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES?
If farmers are provided with irrigation facilities, they can expand irrigated areas and dry season agriculture. They will be able to grow a second crop and this will increase the production and provide employment to more people. And if they are provided with better transportation facilities they can transport their products to far and better markets and find better buyers, hence increase their business and profit. And if they are provided with better marketing facilities, they will get good price for their produce and will also provide employment in people working in storage and transportation.
