A METAL M FORMS TWO OXIDES .A MASS OF 0.2g OF FIRST OXIDE CONTAINS 0.08g OF OXYGEN AND 0.24g OF SECOND OXIDE CONTAINS 0.12g OXYGEN .CALCULATE THE MOLECULAR FORMULA OF THE SECOND OXIDE AND FIRST ?

Mass of metal oxide I = 0.2 gm
Mass of oxygen = 0.08 gm
  Mass of metal = 0.2 - 0.08 = 0.12 gm

Mass of metal oxide II = 0.24 gm
Mass of oxygen = 0.12 gm
  Mass of metal = 0.24 - 0.12 = 0.12 gm

To find the formula;
Metal oxide I:

            Formula M2O3

Metal oxide II:
