which age group is known as work force population? explain the existing employment structure in the agricultural sector in India .also explain major problems.
The age group of 15-59 years is known as the working population. In agriculture disguised and seasonal unemployment exists. Also there is problems of lack of irrigation, lack of good seeds, fertilizers, floods, gamble of monsoon etc. As a result labour is provided by family members and if there is no considerable progress in family's economy the farmers are looking for work in secondary and tertiary sectors.
