find the rational number between (-2)and(-1)?

There are infinitely many rational numbers between -2 and -1.
A rational number is a number that can be in the form p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero.
The decimal expansion of a rational number always either terminates after a finite number of digits or begins  to repeat the same finite sequence of digits over and over.
eg:--2.31 , -2.541 etc.
