Difference between true solution,colloid ,suspension
True solutions:

1.Particle size invisible in all cases.
2.They pass through the filter paper
3. They do not scatter light.

Colloidal Solutions:
1.Particles can be observed under a microscope
2.They can pass easily through a filter paper, but slowly through a membrane.
3. They can scatter light Tyndall effect.

Suspension:
1.Particles are  visible under a microscope, in case of sand it can be visible under a naked eyes.
2.Suspensions cannot pass through a filter paper or a membrane
3. Do not show Tyndall effect.
