WHAT IS MEANT BY ENGINEERING?
Engineering is the design of components, structures, and systems to provide a practical function such as heating or cooling a space (HVAC), spanning a gap (bridge), creating an energy source to drive a system (nuclear reactor), providing an electrical distribution system to support equipment in a process plant, inventing and sizing process equipment to accomplish chemical changes, providing the supportive structure for a building, etc.
