why female mosquitoes not considered as a parasite ?

Mosquitoes are not parasites. Parasites live in or upon a host. They are vectors of disease which means that they harbor parasites within their bodies and pass them on from one host to another, i.e., they carry the protozoans that cause malaria and African Sleeping sickness, among others. The parasites live in their salivary glands and when they bite the organisms go through their stinger (proboscis) into the blood of the host.
