What is the meaning of moderate leaders?
The moderates were the congress leaders during the first phase of the National movement. Their important demand was to bring reforms so that Indians could lead a more free and better life under the British. Dadabhai Naoroji, Gopal Krishna Gokhale and Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee were the leaders of this phase of congress.
