WHAT IS MEAN BY GREEN CHEMISTRY?
Green chemistry is also known as sustainable chemistry which is the  philosophy of chemical research and engineering that encourages the design of products and processes that minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances .It is increasingly seen as a powerful tool that researchers must use to evaluate the environmental impact of nanotechnology .
It provides a number of benefits including ,

(1)reduced waste ,eliminating costly end of the pipe treatments 
(2)safer products
(3) reduced use of energy and resources
(4) improved competiveness of chemical manufacturers and their customers
