WHO IS THE FIRST PERSON IN THIS WORLD TO GET A NOBEL PRICE?

The Nobel Prize is a set of annual international awards bestowed in a number of categories by Scandinavian committees in recognition of cultural and/or scientific advances. The will of the Swedish philanthropist inventor Alfred Nobel established the prizes in 1895. The prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace were first awarded in 1901.

  • Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen was the the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics.
  • Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff, Jr. was the the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
  • Emil Adolf von Behring was the the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
  • Sully Prudhomme was the the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
