How soyabean oil reduce cholestrol?

Soybean oil works to lower cholesterol levels by decreasing cholesterol absorption in the gut. Specific processed parts of soybean oil called unsaponifiables may have a beneficial effect on joints.
Soybeans might help to lower cholesterol by 30 percent because they help to increase high-density lipo-protein, (HDL) or "good" cholesterol, while lowering low-density lipo- protein, or "bad" cholesterol.  This is because of the presence of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated oils. The protein in soy also might help to reduce the adherence of blood platelets that can lead to clogging in the arteries, the authors note. Too much cholesterol can cause arterial hardening and blockage, leading to stroke, heart attack and coronary heart disease.
