what is transistors?


Transistor is a device constituting of three regions, either two p- type regions separated by an n- type region or two- n- type regions separated by a p- type region. Middle part of a transistor is known as base and the end sections are called emitter and collector respectively. Transistors are of two types namely p-n-p transistor and n-p-n transistor.
