The buildings of the Forbidden City have a combined floorspace of 1,614,600 square feet (150,001 m2) and contain roughly 9,000 rooms.

The World's largest Palace by volume would be the Royal Palace of Caserta, with more than 2 millions cubic meters (70 millions cubic feet).
