1)WHAT IS PERIODICITY?

Periodicity is the trends or recurring variations in element properties with increasing atomic number that is the occurrence of characteristic properties of elements at definite intervals in the modern periodic table .This is because after definite intervals of atomic number, elements show similar valence shell electronic configuration .
Periodic properties  :  atomic radii, ionisation potential ,electron affinity
electronegativity ,nonmetallic and metallic character .
Density                      :  melting and boiling point
