orbital velocity what is?

The velocity required to put a satellite into a given orbit around the earth is called orbital velocity of the satellite in that orbit.
The orbit velocity of the satellite is independent of the mass of the satellite.
The orbital velocity of the satellite decreases as the height(h) of the satellite increases. Therefore, the value of orbital velocity is different for different orbits around the earth
The orbital velocity of a satellite depends upon the mass (M) and radius (R) of the earth/planet around which it revolves.
