ELETRICITY

Electricity is associated with moving charges. Every substance is made up of atoms. Atoms contain very loosely bound electrons in their outermost orbits, which they can easily give away. These are known as free electrons. Under ordinary conditions, free electrons move randomly in all directions. When free electrons are forced to flow in a particular direction, they constitute an electric current or electricity. Electric current is the flow of free electrons.
