WHAT IS DIFFUSION
It is  a characteristic property exhibited by gases .For example smell of agarbathy spreads through out the house .When a perfume bottle is open ,the smell spreads over a large area .The smell of effluent gases sent out from factories inform the people that they are entering an industrial area is also an example of diffusion .The intermingling of gases is called diffusion .Even heavier gases can diffuse into the lighter ones. Heavier gases diffuse slowly while lighter gases diffuse faster .
