why do developed countries want developing countries to liberalise their trade and investment?why do you think should the developing countries demand in return?

The developed countries want developing countries to liberalise their trade and investment because they can expand their business in developing countries through foreign trade and foreign investments through MNCs.
In return, the developing countries should demand for removing unfairly retained trade barriers by developed countries for more economic aid. Moreover, the developing countries feel cheated because while they have been forced to open their markets to developed countries, their access to the markets of the developed countries has been thwarted by protection measures such as anti-dumping measures and subsidiary measures. Developed countries should remove agricultural and other subsides.
Moreover, they should also demand that the WTO should take back its policy of taking away the workers’ right to strike which has put them to disadvantage as compared to the factory-owners. They should also press their demand against indiscriminate production by the MNC units operating there as producing things indiscriminately will not only lead to the depletion of resources at a rapid speed but would also lead to pollution of the whole atmosphere.
