WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN BOYANT FORCE AND DENSITY? |
Buoyant force is directly proportional to the density of the liquid. as
the density of the liquid increases, the Buoyant force increases.Higher density means the weight of water displaced is less than the weight of object so buoyancy force will not be able to make the object float and it will sink , so less buoyancy for heavier objects.lower density means the weight of water displaced is more than the weight of object so buoyancy force will be able to make the object float , so more buoyancy for lighter objects. |
