Arrange the numbers in ascending order we get,
3,4,6,8,9,10,12,13,15,17,20,21,23,48.
Median = mean 12 and 13
             = 1/2(12+13)
              =25/2
              =12.5
Q1 = (n/4)th term
  Q3 =(3n/4)th term
