THE PRODUCT OF THE AGES OF RAMU AND HIS FATHER IS 45.FIVE YEARS AGO THE PRODUCT OF THEIR AGES WAS 124. HOW OLD ARE THEY NOW?
Let age of  Ramu =x and
age of  his father = y
Given that ,xy = 45---(i)
5 years ago.
age of  Ramu =x - 5 and
age of  his father = y - 5
Then,
    (x - 5)(y - 5)=124 --------(ii)
solving (i) and (ii) we get , the values of x and y.
