Why the pouched mammals like kangaroo are seen only in Australia?
Good question.
It's evolution of the species. The availablity of a particular food, weather, geography (forests, mountain, hiding place, joggin place) etc aslo play a part.The specialities of climate and geography of Australia should have an inevitable influence on evolutionary development; larger predators were missing, these may be some of the factors why Kangaroos or marsupials survive there.
