what is mean by nivarthana prakshobha?

The  nivarthana prakshobha was a protest against the constitutional reforms of 1932 in Travancore. The states in the legislative assembly of Travancore were fixed on the basis of payment of tax. The right to elect the members to the assembly was given to the tax payers only. Thus the upper castes with large number of tax payers bagged more seats in the assembly.
