A person standing on a road has to ho;d his umbrella at 60 degree with the vertical to keep the rain away. He throws the umbrella and starts running at 20m/s. He find that rain drops are hitting his head vertically. find the speed of rain drops with respect to a)the road b) the moving person

v` is the velocity of man with respect to the ground=20m/s
 v`` is the velocity of rain with respect to ground
 v is the velocity of rain with respect to man

 tan60 = BC/AB
 AB=20/sqrt(3)
 =11.56 m/s

 similarly sin60= BC /AC
 AC=40/sqrt(3)
 =23.2m/s
