Which is the smallest mammal?

The smallest mammal in the world regarding size which is Kitti’s hog-nosed bat and Bumblebee Bat is another common name of this animal. The binomial name of this mammal is “Craseonycteris thonglongyai” and it is considered as the smallest specie of bat. In length, this bat is 1.1-1.3 inches large while it weighs only 2 grams. These bats are reddish-brown or grey in color. They are normally found in limestone caves of Thailand and Burma. Bats live in groups, normally a flock of 100 bats live together in caves.
