What is regular and irregular reflection?
The reflection which is caused by regular surface is known as regular reflection.
In this type of reflection the reflected rays are parallel to each other.
Diffuse reflection is the property of light to scatter when reflecting off a surface.  Polished surfaces such as white marble stone, or the randomly irregular fibers of paper, reflect diffuse light with nearly equal efficiency.
