Buddhayan, an indian Mathematician developed a relation between the square described on the hypotenuce of a right-angled triangle and the sum of the squares described on the other two sides of the same triangle.But the credit of the present form of this goes to a Greek Mathematician PYTHAGORAS and the theorem is known as the Pythagoras theorem.
