ozone layer
The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles fabry and Henri bussion. Its properties were explored in detail by the British meterologist G.M.B dobson, who developed a simple spectrophoto meter that could be used to measure stratospheric ozone from the ground. Between 1928 and 1958 Dobson established a worldwide network of ozone monitoring stations, which continue to operate to this day. The Dobson unit a conveninent measure of the amount of ozone over head is named in his houour.

Solar energy radiant light and heat from the sun, is harnessed using a range of ever evolving technologies such as solar heating, solar photovoltaics,solar architechure and artifical photosynthesis.
ENERGY CONSERVATION
Energy conservation refers to reducing energy through using less of an energy service. Energy conservation differs from efficient energy use , which refers to using less energy for a constant.
